Personal Growth

Cheryl Jones is a certified wellness coach and former personal trainer to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She empowers women over 40 who are looking to reduce stress, build resilience, and thrive. You are creative, resourceful, and whole. Cheryl will act as your guide and ally. She will help you connect with your inner resources and capitalize on your strengths. And she will help you connect with external resources to help support your journey. Cheryl’s personal growth programs could be called “Mindful Personal Training” and they fall under two categories: body and brain.



I won’t beat you into shape or use external motivation to help you succeed. Instead, I will inspire you to discover your unique path to achieving health and well-being. I’ll help you befriend your body and connect with its innate intelligence. Using my book, Mindful Exercise, complete with CD, you’ll learn how to reclaim your body regardless of age, weight, or physical capabilities.

Even if you’re managing chronic pain or cancer you can move your body with kindness and appreciation for its true magnificence. You’ll learn how to focus on what’s right about your body. You’ll finally get on your own ‘to do’ list and practice a high level of self-care.

As your coach I will introduce you to mindfulness so you can lower stress. Stress keeps us from doing things that build resilience. Things like: staying physically active, eating healthy foods, sleeping, creating healthy relationships, and doing what we love.

I will teach you how to pause and pay attention to what’s happening inside and outside of you. You have the capacity to be awake and aware in the moment; though it seems in today’s busy world we need to be purposely mindful. I’ll introduce you to a variety of simple, practical meditations you can do anytime, anywhere. You don’t need to sit on a meditation cushion or chant: “Om.”
